Created as a limited edition of 500, this plate reflects the regional tradition of commissioning artist Joseph Orr for civic and architectural subjects, a practice that made his work especially valued among collectors of Midwestern art. This piece was produced in 1980 for Citizens Savings Association and was often presented to commissioners involved in the project’s development. Numbered 44 of 500, it carries the clean, illustrative style Orr was known for, offering a meaningful keepsake with a strong sense of place and time.
