This Old Café lidded candy dish brings a crisp, light‑catching presence to shelves or tabletops with its ribbed pressed‑glass design.
Produced by Anchor Hocking between 1936 and 1940, the Old Café pattern reflects the Art Deco influence that shaped many of the company’s clear glass lines during this period. The dish’s ribbed walls, fitted lid, and generous bowl form made it a versatile piece for serving candies, nuts, or mints, while its clear pressed glass allowed it to blend easily with both patterned and plain tableware. Collectors value Old Café for its clean geometry and the way its vertical ribbing enhances clarity and reflection in natural light.
Dimensions are 6.75" diameter and 5" tall with lid.
