This vintage Homer Laughlin Eggshell Nautilus teapot pairs the line’s refined silhouette with a later custom-painted blue and silver finish.
Dating to 1945, the teapot bears the maker’s J 45 N 5 mark and has the lightweight, thin-walled construction associated with the Eggshell line. Its sprayed two-tone decoration is a later addition rather than an original factory pattern, offering an unconventional interpretation of this recognizable American china design.
Condition note: No chips or cracks are present; paint flakes are missing from the inner rim beneath the lid, exposing the white body.
