The mark J 45 N 5 dates this teapot to 1945, a period when Homer Laughlin was one of the largest and most influential American dinnerware producers. Its later custom‑painted spray design adds a unique, contemporary layer to the classic Nautilus silhouette, blending collectible history with artistic reinterpretation.
