About this item
This Under the Apple Tree by Sandra Kuck Reco Barefoot Children collector plate pairs fine china decoration with a storybook orchard scene and a narrow gold-tone rim.
Sandra Kuck’s “Under the Apple Tree” shows a barefoot blond child in a broad straw hat surrounded by four kittens and a basket of red apples. Reco issued the artwork in 1988 as the fifth release in The Barefoot Children Plate Collection. The printed scene is framed by a narrow gold-tone rim and bears Kuck’s signature on the front; the reverse has a blue floral-and-footprint backstamp identifying Plate No. 4434 CB and noting a fine china edition limited to 14 firing days, made in the USA.
Dimensions are 9.25 in. diameter (23.5 cm).
