About this item
This porcelain pedestal cake stand brings a warm, mid‑century elegance to tabletops with its scalloped edges, yellow floral motif, and softly gleaming gold accents.
Created in 1963 by artist Belle Monez, this stand pairs a wide, scalloped platter with a flared pedestal base, each finished with a hand‑applied gilded rim that highlights the molded contours. Mid‑century porcelain artists frequently incorporated raised scalloping and gold detailing to elevate everyday serveware into decorative display pieces, a tradition reflected beautifully in this design.
