This Sevres‑style plate brings a romantic, pastoral presence to display shelves with its vivid cobalt border and soft, idyllic scene.

The center features a transfer print of La Morotte (also known as La Musette), painted in 1759 by François Boucher, whose Rococo pastoral works shaped European decorative arts and inspired later Sevres‑style porcelain. Plates in this tradition, often produced in France in the late 19th or early 20th century, are known for their deep cobalt bands and raised “crust gold” enamel that adds dimensional shimmer. The courting couple resting beside the water feels intimate and serene, while the gilt filigree border and included stand make the piece effortless to display.

Dimensions are 10.5" diameter.
