Ce plateau de service en verre pressé des années 1880 apporte une texture lumineuse et le charme de l'Amérique ancienne grâce à son motif « Dew Drop in Points » et à sa forme avec poignées.
Ce plateau reflète le caractère distinctif du verre à motifs américain ancien (Early American Pattern Glass), avec un mélange en relief de rayons de soleil, de formes géométriques et de motifs circulaires « goutte de rosée » qui donnent son nom au motif. Le design avec poignées le rend pratique pour le service tout en servant également d'accent décoratif pour l'affichage.
