This hand‑painted Nippon chocolate‑pot set brings an elegant, Art Nouveau presence to shelves or display cabinets with its tall silhouette, soft green shading, and pink dogwood florals highlighted by gold gilding.

Produced in Japan between 1891 and 1921, this porcelain set reflects the decorative style associated with Nippon‑marked export wares, created in response to the McKinley Tariff Act’s country‑of‑origin requirements. The chocolate pot’s slender profile and hand‑painted detailing are accompanied by four matching cups and a lidded dish, each finished with the same floral motif. The fine porcelain surface and period styling give the set a display‑ready character suited for collectors of early Japanese export porcelain.
