Rare Harker Pottery Royal Gadroon Green Leaf Teapot
This Harker Royal Gadroon teapot brings a classic mid‑century presence with its scalloped rope‑textured edges and soft green leaf transferware pattern.
Made in the 1940s–1950s by Harker Pottery, known as the oldest pottery in America, this ceramic teapot features the Royal Gadroon embossed rim paired with a matching lid that repeats the ivy motif. Harker’s Gadroon line is recognized among collectors for its distinctive rope‑like edging, a design influence that appeared across American tableware in the early 20th century. The crisp transferware pattern and gently rounded form give the piece a timeless, display‑ready character that blends easily with traditional and cottage‑style settings.
Dimensions are 5.5" tall with the lid and 6.5" diameter at the widest part of the body.
Condition note: Inside of lid has a chip and small crack not visible when the lid is in place and does not affect display or use.
