The Edwin M. Knowles China Company issue gives the Norman Rockwell "The Tycoon" collector plate a polished collectible presence, presented as part of the Rockwell Heritage Collection. Issued in 1982, the plate is identified by Bradex number 84-R70-3.6 and plate number P17717, and it includes a certificate of authenticity and Rockwell Society of America recognition as a "True Rockwell Classic." The composition centers on the seated older gentleman and attentive young boy rendered in Rockwell’s detailed narrative style, on a fine china/porcelain body suited for shelf display.
