Knowles China Company launched the Rockwell Heritage Collection in the late 1970s as the first officially authorized series of limited‑edition plates featuring licensed Norman Rockwell artwork. This 1978 issue, The Cobbler, was the second plate released in the collection and depicts a shoemaker at his workbench surrounded by tools and materials. The porcelain surface highlights the detailed transfer illustration and the plate’s decorative presentation.
