This commemorative ceramic wall plate by Frankoma features a raised Statue of Liberty and embossed centennial wording in a rich brown glaze.
Warm and graphic, this commemorative wall plate brings a distinctly American note to a shelf or gallery wall. The glossy brown finish frames a raised Statue of Liberty at the center, while the rim is detailed with the dates 1886 and 1986 and the phrase “America's Lady of Freedom.” Designed for wall display, it has a molded back with hanging recesses and a finished presentation that feels both decorative and substantial. Frankoma produced the plate as a 1986 limited-edition design, and examples are noted with Joniece Frank’s signature and back text referencing American clay and American production.
