Northwood Green Opalescent Stippled Rays Ruffled Bowl – Carnival Glass
This Northwood green opalescent bowl brings soft iridescence and a luminous, shifting glow to shelves, centerpieces, or curated vintage displays.
Crafted in Northwood's Stippled Rays pattern, this early carnival glass design is known for its radiating interior texture and the milky opalescent edge that forms as the glass cools. Northwood was one of the first American makers to produce carnival glass commercially in the early 1900s, helping popularize the richly iridescent finishes that collectors prize today. The ruffled rim adds movement and dimension, while the green opalescent surface catches light in layered tones that change from every angle.
Dimensions are 8" diameter x 2.75" tall.
Condition note: There is a unique bubble embedded inside the glass from the making process. It is not a chip or defect. It is part of the character and charm of handmade glass objects.
