About this item

Collector plate by Edwin M. Knowles features Norman Rockwell's Portrait for a Bridegroom with gold trim and a detailed colonial scene.

This 1987 Edwin M. Knowles collector plate reproduces Norman Rockwell's Portrait for a Bridegroom as part of the Colonials: The Rarest Rockwells series. Issued as the fourth plate in the set and produced during a limited 150-day firing period, it was released as a limited edition for collectors. The scene pairs warmly rendered colonial-era figures with softly reflective gold edging, creating a decorative display piece. This example includes its original Certificate of Authenticity and is numbered 1505A. Pre-owned and thoughtfully preserved, it is ready for display in a cabinet or on a collector's wall.

Dimensions are 9.25 in. diameter (23.5 cm).
