The artwork, titled Grandpa’s Treasure Chest, appears as the second issue in Rockwell’s Light Campaign, a series created to highlight Rockwell’s emergence as a defining interpreter of American life. Produced by the Edwin M. Knowles China Company, the plate was released as a limited edition restricted to a 150‑day firing period and finished with softly reflective gold trim. The Light Campaign plates are known for their expressive detail and emotional clarity, qualities that helped solidify Rockwell’s legacy in American illustration.
