About this item
Richly detailed brass wall plate decor with a raised sun face, scalloped rim, and warm patina that brings bold character to the wall.
Warmly graphic and full of depth, this brass wall plate pair centers on an embossed sun face framed by concentric repoussé bands and a softly scalloped edge. The raised detailing and aged patina give each piece a collected, handmade presence, while the reverse hanging tab makes them easy to display as part of a gallery wall or as a stand-alone accent. The set includes one brass-tone plate and one copper-tone plate, both with a hammered back and stamped “Hecho en Mexico.” That mark means “Made in Mexico,” reinforcing the pieces’ Mexican origin and the artisan-made character noted in the design. With their radiating triangular detail and layered borders, they carry the bold decorative look often associated with Mexican sun calendar wall plaques.
