Das Kunstwerk mit dem Titel Grandpa’s Gift ist die erste Ausgabe in Rockwells „Golden Moments“-Serie von 1987, die besinnliche, generationenübergreifende Momente mit Rockwells typischer emotionaler Klarheit feiert. Der von der Edwin M. Knowles China Company hergestellte Teller wurde als limitierte Auflage mit einer Brenndauer von 150 Tagen herausgegeben und mit einem sanft reflektierenden Goldrand versehen. Die Zusammenarbeit von Knowles mit der Rockwell Society trug dazu bei, diese Teller als dauerhafte Sammlerstücke zu etablieren, die für ihre Handwerkskunst und originalgetreue Farbwiedergabe geschätzt werden. Dieses Exemplar enthält sein originales Echtheitszertifikat und ist mit 5223D nummeriert.
