This lot consist of three early pieces created by artist Tyler. The ceramic wall plaque set pieces layer metallic sunbursts, rope borders, and bold black-and-white geometry for a richly textured tribal look.
Collected as a cohesive ceramic wall plaque set, these Tyler pieces bring together a sculptural rectangular plaque, a graphic black-and-white tumbler (or pencil holder) dating back to 2012, and a freeform hanging form with strong tactile presence. The group pairs raw clay bodies with dark underglaze and slip work and features stamped spirals, concentric diamonds, chevrons, and a pronounced crackled texture. The rectangular plaque is anchored by a bronze-toned sunburst tile and twisted-rope border, the stout cup contrasts with a heavy rim and crisp geometric patterning, and the shield-shaped hanging piece shows deep incised texture and vertical lower folds for an earthy, hand-built character and is signed by Tyler J. and his friendly motto "Hi".
