Die von der A.L. Randall Company hergestellte Vase zeichnet sich durch einen weit ausgestellten Rand, einen sich verjüngenden Hals und einen mehrseitigen, getäfelten Korpus aus, der in einem achteckigen Boden mündet und ihr eine klare, architektonische Silhouette verleiht. Amerikanische Floristen aus der Mitte des Jahrhunderts bevorzugten oft solche getäfelten Vasen wegen ihrer Stabilität und der großzügigen Öffnung, die es ermöglichte, vollere Arrangements natürlich aufzufächern.
